HYPERICUM                                                                                                                                                                                                         AVAILABLE

Semi-deciduous shrub.  Grows eventually to about 1 to 1.5 ms tall - similar spread.   Small golden yellow flowers in mid summer.   Colouful autumn berries red - turning to black.

Deciduous shrub.  Beautiful pink flowers in May, early June. 

This is not the big lilac tree / bush you may be familair with.   This grows to a bush about 1.5 metres high - similar spread.    So would suit a smaller garden.

PHYSOCARPUS Variety - almost certain is 'Diabolo'           NOT AVAILABLE

Deciduous shrub. Maroon foliage - white flowers in about May / June.

This shrub can very easily be pruned to keep it small and it is fairly easy to start new plants from cuttings. However, if left it is a big shrub - it will grow to about 2 metres high and 3 metres or so width.

Excellent background to perennials of different colours - particularly paler shades - white, yellow, lilac.

 

PHYSOCARPUS Variety - almost certain is 'Dart's Gold'                                       NOT AVAILABLE

Deciduous shrub. Golden yellow foliage - new leaves are tinged with orange - inset photo just shows this. Deciduous.  Flowers in about May / June.

This shrub can very easily be pruned to keep it small and it is fairly easy to start new plants from cuttings. However, if left it is a big shrub - it will grow to about 2 metres high and 3 metres or so width.

Excellent background to perennials of different colours - particularly purples, blues, reds.

 

SORBARIA SEM                                                                                                                                                                                                 AVAILABLE

IBeautiful small shrub.   Deciduous.  In March / Spring - very colourful new leaves as shown.   More yellowish tinged with pink in summer.  Height and spread about a metre.  Can be easily trimmed.  Looks good in a container too.
